Got a call from someone working for the Romney campaign in Holland, MI. Turns out that Huckabee's spokesperson's (Former Sen. Tim Hutchinson) son Josh has driven up from Arkansas with a friend and are campaigning for Mitt in town. Josh's friend who is accompanying him is a specialist in Huckabee oppo researh.

Get 'em both down to South Carolina after tomorrow!

Very interesting! Guess they know a great candidate when they see one.

In the immortal words of Tommy Lee Jones from the movie The Fugitive, "That's hot!"

Somehow I'm not surprised that someone so close to Huckabee would support someone so different from him.

Finally! Maybe the message from Arkansas can get through about the "real" Huckabee. The latest editorial, written by Ernest Dumas of the Arkansas Times, points out the the Huck's so-called "first broad-based tax cut in 160 years" that he likes to brag about, was actually the brain-child of his predecessor, Gov. Jim Guy Tucker. Tucker had to resign because of Whitewater, and the democratic legislature passed it anyway. And you guess it - the Huck stepped in a took credit!
