Lianyungang Soda Ash export reaches a new high

Under the background of serious overcapacity huge sales pressure in the global soda industry, the export of soda ash at Lianyungang Port still maintained a steady growth trend, achieved the export breakthrough of 120000 tons in the first half of the year for the first time in three years.

according to the statistics of Lianyungang inspection Quarantine Bureau, in the first half of this year, Lianyungang exported 126400 tons of soda ash, an increase of 18.24% year-on-year. Among them, 67300 tons of heavy alkali 59100 tons of light alkali were exported. There are 31 export countries regions, mainly in ASEAN, North Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean the Arab region. Among them, Thail, Vietnam South Korea ranked the top three, with 26800 tons, 23800 tons 20300 tons respectively.
